In depth

Verdict

Very little form to go on here with Hardwired reverting to hurdles after a poor run over fences at Punchestown. Charlie Siringo produced several good runs last year but has been well beaten in both starts this campaign while Mr Caplan makes his hurdling debut after being well beaten in a Ballinrobe bumper. The latter had shown some promise on his debut in October and is expected to do better but the vote goes to WASDALE PARK. Sam Curling's charge looked a likely future winner when runner-up at Limerick and didn't look right on his latest start at Clonmel in January.
