In depth

Verdict

Fassbender was having his 14th start over timber when producing easily his best run at Tipperary though that was on heavy going. Master Cornwall ran very well to finish third at Tramore in April but was beaten a long way when occupying the same spot at Wexford. All The Angels completed a double on good going in the summer of 2019 and, though out of form, will have conditions to suit. SECRET SEA gave notice of an imminent victory when beaten a head at Wexford. She was withdrawn from a race at Clonmel on Friday when the ground turned good to firm so could do with some rain. Tham Luang was beaten a long way on the Flat at Fairyhouse on Friday while Ask The Leader was engaged in the 2.40 here yesterday and Balliyad in the 3.15.
