Verdict
Winning bumper Barbary Master has been placed in half of his dozen starts over timber but looks well exposed. He has a penalty to carry as does Eco Pete for his bumper victory on this track. Smooth Player's second to Law Ella here suggested an imminent success and he started odds-on at Tramore but was beaten 16 lengths into second. He's another with a bumper penalty while winning point-to-pointer Hans Gruber will probably be seen in better light over further. Harel Du Marais has a long absence to overcome so this can go to WILLIAMSTOWNDANCER, a Punchestown bumper winner on her debut and making her hurdling debut after finishing third in a Grade 2 mares' bumper at Aintree. Stablemate Pure Notions was beaten a long way on her bumper debut at Cork but should soon leave that form behind.
