Verdict

Having been very green on debut at Bath, Beenham won well at Goodwood and should continue heading in the right direction. PERSIAN DREAMER was much too speedy for favourite Dorothy Lawrence at Newmarket last month and it will be a surprise if those placings are reversed here. The latter’s yard also saddle easy Nottingham winner Got To Love A Grey as they seek to win this Listed contest for the second year in succession. Gaiden, well backed when runner-up at Windsor last month, may prove the pick of the remainder.
