Verdict

Several of these were winners last time. Ripon second Fortamour runs over this longer trip for the first time since eighth in this in 2021. David O’Meara runs three and Riot and Starshiba were both successful last time, though Jason Watson partners Ascot Adventure and he could be the pick of the trio. A return to 7f should help Seven Brothers and Wolverhampton winner Titan Rock is not out of this but Quest For Fun has proved best over 6f so far and is having a first run for Tim Easterby, who also saddles veteran Golden Apollo. Gioia Cieca slips further down the ratings but hasn’t won in almost two years. IT JUST TAKES TIME (NAP) may have been a bit flattered by his margin of victory at Thirsk but a penalty is negated by Jonny Peate’s claim and he should take all the beating here granted luck in-running. Tiempo Star has only won on Polytrack so far and has gone up 6lb for his win over a mile at Chelmsford.
