Verdict
Another big field so this is hardly the ideal getting-out stakes. Just A Spark has won three times on the all-weather this year but was beaten making her Turf debut at Nottingham. THE THAMES BOATMAN has also shown his best form on artificial surfaces so far but was repeatedly hampered when third at Southwell last time and William Buick takes over the reins from an apprentice. Northcliff finished behind Thankuappreciate, Jm Jungle and Clearpoint at Thirsk but looked to be coming to hand when third at Hamilton and Tatterstall made a winning reappearance at Wolverhampton. Rhythm N Hooves is on a hat-trick and She's Centimental is chasing a four-timer while Brighton winner Spartan Arrow is possibly the most progressive of these three-year-olds.
