PILLAR has been running well without quite getting there and though he remains a pound or two high in the handicap his overall form on the track just about gives him the edge. Eacharn won over the track and trip then didn't get the run of the race over an extra furlong. He remains well enough treated to give a good account. A Likely Story needed every yard of 7f when just getting up a fortnight ago while Gopsies Daughter usually runs over the minimum. The likes of Red All Star, My Good Brother and Your Pal Tal win their share on the track.
