Verdict

Grandmaster Flash was racing in much better company on Turf last summer and though stepping up to 2m for his second course victory three weeks ago he's won over the trip and his rider's claim is again a bonus. Kasperenko was beaten 10 lengths that day and appears unlikely to turn the tables despite this being a more suitable trip. PURE NATURE could be another for the champion jockey as she looked one to follow when gaining her third track victory in four starts with an impressive success in December and can defy a 9lb rise. Swift Verdict, an easy maiden winner in January, started favourite for a handicap last month but ran poorly behind The Mouse Doctor, who was gaining his third track success.
