Verdict

Obe Brave had dropped to a fair mark when sent to Wolverhampton and duly obliged but he seems best on that track nowadays. Diamond Fire also went to Wolverhampton for a victory in October but that was over 7f and this could prove too sharp. After racing over middle-distances on his first three starts, Tsar Paul dropped to 7f to gain his first success on this track last month and was only just caught by Slapper on a return visit later in the month. He looks certain to get involved but the vote goes to TROTTING WEASEL, who caught the eye when staying on over the minimum trip at Tipperary and has several good efforts on this track to his credit.
