In depth

Verdict

Daintree has improved with every run and was well supported when beating today's rival FORM OF PRAISE over the track and trip. However, the runner-up was only beaten half-a-length and will be 18lb better off so should have few problems reversing the form. Sosallycanwait was beaten less than a length in fourth and was staying on nicely so should also gain revenge on the winner though doesn't have his rider's 10lb claim this time. Hypernova had his first two starts over 7f then led for most of the way before finishing a close third to stablemate National Gallery over 6f a fortnight ago. Dropping down to the minimum shouldn't be a problem and he should confirm the form with fourth-placed Juno Beach.
