Verdict

The two previous winners face no easy task in this carrying 7lb extra as Becky The Boo is eased in grade and her latest second at Doncaster is starting to look decent form. Speech Bubble can only improve on her second at Lingfield but the form has yet to be franked. SWINCOMBE FLEAT had a subsequent winner back in third when making all at Exeter. Her yard is going great guns and there should be plenty more to come so she can get the better of Tweed Skirt, who had only two rivals at Ascot with an odds-on favourite running below par. Code Name Lise will need to do better than at Plumpton and the once-raced Bridal Knot looks to be her stable’s second string.
