Verdict
Firestream had a good chance in the 4.10 Exeter yesterday and was brushed aside by the less-experienced Clifton Bridge at that track last month. The latter has a penalty to carry here, however, and it’s about time AUTHORISED SPEED was getting his head in front after seconds at Market Rasen and Ascot. Captain Destiny and Kingsand Bay both represent powerful NH yards and the newcomers have a similar profile, both being a half-brother to four winners. The mare Decorated will need to improve on her win at Hereford but Onesteptwosteps wasn’t far behind the selection at Ascot and will know more today while Godot made a promising start at Huntingdon.
