THE MPEX KID has been raised 7lb for beating today's first reserve Wajaaha over track and trip a week ago but Jamie Powell can utilise his 3lb claim this time and a quick double looks on the cards. Like the majority of Tim Doyle's runners, Maralinga has been running well all summer and scored comfortably at Tipperary though a 10lb rise makes this tougher.
