EGLISH was beaten a short-head in this last year when rated 19lb higher. A five-times track winner, he's back in form and will take some beating with Shane Foley again taking the ride. Hale Bopp won over the trip here as a two-year-old but is better over a mile as he showed when leading close home here last month. Coviglia's last run here resulted in a victory over a mile and he's another who could do with another furlong. Pallasmore Lass has had 27 starts on Turf without winning but has only been here once back in 2020 and finished last. Admiral Nelson has a poor record here though was racing off much higher marks while Von Krolock, from an in-form yard, makes his debut here having found testing ground against him the last twice.
