In depth

Verdict

G K CHESTERTON has been lightly-campaigned with only half a dozen runs in three seasons for Godolphin but continues to progress and the best is yet to be seen of him. He appeared to oblige with something in hand at Newmarket and a 5lb rise for that success seems reasonable. It's interesting that connections reach for first-time cheekpieces in the hope of ekeing out further improvement. Remarkable should deliver a solid effort off topweight as he does have a splash of class and Sixties Groove is another interesting contender. He did display a tendency to hang in his races last term but was progressive nonetheless and further improvement is anticipated in his 4-y-o campaign. He should go well on this seasonal reappearance. Spring Offensive and Mutarakez both went well in good, competitive handicaps last time and are of interest once again.
