Verdict

Spanish Star followed up a win at Goodwood with a second at Windsor and the step back up in trip won’t be a problem. On A Session won at Musselburgh in April and was second at Chester last Saturday but MARLAY PARK loves it here and Jim Boyle looks to have laid the five-year-old out for this. The selection’s stablemate Secret Strength and Wyvern could find this company too hot but there are a couple of three-year-olds who should make life interesting. Joe Fanning gave Urban Sprawl a canny ride from the front at Goodwood last week and he beat Signcastle City in a nursery at Ascot last year while Clochette is still unexposed and makes her handicap debut.
