ODELIZ will be hoping to go one better having finished runner-up in last year's renewal. She ran well on her reappearance behind Secret Gesture in a Group 2 at York and may have the edge on Lightning Thunder. The latter was tailed off on her comeback on the Turf at Lingfield but has obvious claims if back to the same level that saw her finish second in last year's 1000 Guineas at both Newmarket and the Curragh. Don't Be carried over her good form on the all-weather to Goodwood last month where she narrowly beat Crowley's Law with Miss Buckshot further behind while Victoria Regina ran well in Listed company at Kempton in April. Lamar may figure back over a mile for this but Amulet and Bold Lass have yet to win outside of handicap company while the three-year-old Arabian Queen has a tough task on her return.
