Verdict

Another helter-skelter sprint with plenty in with chances, but we'll go for Further Outlook, one of only two course and distance winners in the race, to get the better of Injaaz and Mutawaqed. Undoubtedly well handicapped on the best of his form, the selection has also got a good draw in five. A similar comment applies to Injaaz, only three pounds higher than for her win at Goodwood last August, and Mutawaqed, weighted to beat the lightly raced Ringmoor Down on their Kempton runs in May. Halmahera is now only five-pounds higher than for his Portland win (which was over a furlong further) but looks opposable off top weight. Watching has only ever won at five furlongs, while Onlytime Will Tell is 11lbs higher than for last year's win in this race, while Roses Of Spring is on the same mark for her Bath win in May. Baralinka is fairly lightly raced and is entitled to improve again. It's open but we'll stick with Further Outlook.
