      Verdict

      Thames Knight has yet to strike form this season and Firestorm was still beaten 10 lengths when runner-up over course and distance last month. Fearless Lad was only sixth when favourite for a lesser contest at Lingfield last time while The Gay Cavalier has only been placed once in 10 attempts on Turf. Topamichi was only fifth over a mile at this track on his latest start but may be suited by a return to this longer trip, though we prefer RIGHTWAY at the likely odds. The Irish import continues to tumble down the weights and George Downing takes off a further 3lb here in a modest heat.
