Verdict

Justcallmepete continues to give a good account despite operating off a notably higher mark on recent starts, and shaped well returned to the grass last time and has every chance here. Both Toussarok and Count Otto have scored at what can be a tricky track for some and can be given a competitive chance on the best of their respective achievements, although both tend to be pretty hard to catch right. Pablo Del Pueblo probably enters the same category, whilst Grenham Bay has found life a little tougher off his increased mark the last twice. MAGICAL MERLIN scored smoothly at Lingfield two starts back and wasn't beaten too far next time up. He probably needs to find a little extra here but the combination of first-time blinkers and the useful 3lb claim of Adam Farragher might do the trick.
