        Verdict

        Beau Vintage, a noted improver last time when just touched off at Wolverhampton, is an interesting candidate on this turf debut off a feasible mark. Desfondado and Buy The Dip are also contenders on their best form and the latter's stable companion, Nonsuch, affords Jim Boyle a good double chance in an open race. Indeed, the latter has not been beaten at all far on his last three outings and is more likely than most to run his race. BOBBY DASSLER has plenty on at the weights and headgear is now applied after a relatively low-key effort latest when seeking to supplement a tidy Nottingham success. He could go very close if back to the level of that winning run. Star Of Sussex is hard to assess as he's unexposed but remains of interest on just this second venture into handicaps.
