Verdict

If he could reproduce his best form Ian Semple's Sarraaf would win this claimer with ease. However, despite being well in on official BHB ratings, the son of Perugino has a poor strike-rate but a reproduction of his recent York third would suffice and he has to be the TEAMtalk selection. The main danger looks to be the Ian Williams-trained Lucky Archer, who has some respectable form in handicaps of late. Freecom Net has yet to show the same sort of form on turf as he has on the all-weather, while a market move for Beausejour would be interesting. The others look a pretty moderate bunch with Warwick selling winner Wilom probably the pick of them.
