Verdict

Just the four runners to choose from but still not the easiest of races to solve with only Martin's Sunset, who does not appear as good on turf as on the all-weather, seemingly with too much to do. Topweight Adjawar is bound to have his supporters after a string of good efforts and should once more be thereabouts. However, he and Aker Wood, who are both normally held up may not have the race run to suit. In a field of this size it may be an advantage to get first run and with the perennial front-runner Captain's Log sure to take them along, Michael Bell's in form gelding may be able to make all the running and land his third race in four starts.
