    Verdict

DANVILLE had no chance against the odds-on King Vega at Goodwood but was clear second best and faces nothing of the winner’s calibre in this. Pirouette Queen is going backwards while Arrange has been well beaten in a couple of runs on the all-weather but Salisbury fourth Virgo is a likely improver.
