In depth
Verdict
Imperial Cup winner Korelo was much the best of these over hurdles and is taken to make a winning debut over fences at the main expense of One Nation and the unexposed L'Ange Au Ciel. The last mentioned, a winning hurdler in France, makes his British debut today for the in-form yard of Paul Nicholls and has to be respected but a bigger threat to the selection is expected to come from One Nation, who did little wrong in beating Martin Pipe's Zeta's River on his chasing debut over course and distance last month. Pipe should have a good line through the runner-up to Henrietta Knight's gelding for his representative Korelo though and, although he struggles after his Sandown success, the French-bred gelding should be too classy for his rivals here. Keltic Bard and Biliverdin make most appeal of the remainder but Karelo looks the one they all have to beat.
