Verdict

This gruelling stamina test can go to Twisted Logic ahead of Nativetrial and Jolly Giant. Twisted Logic stays all day and will not be phased by this four mile trip. His last three successes have all come on this course, and judged by the way he has performed on his last three outings, he will relish conditions. Robert Alner's charge gets the vote over Nativetrial who ran a sound prep race at Newton Abbot when second to Master Of Illusion. He blew up that day and will strip much fitter now. In addition, he is no stranger to a slog, as he was the only one to finish when landing the Lincolnshire National at Market Rasen on Boxing Day last year. Jolly Giant comes from a powerful yard and has winning form on the course. He too will relish the step up in distance, but in a decent renewal, we return to Twisted Logic as the answer.
