In depth

Verdict

It's rare to see a three-year-old taking on older horses over hurdles at this time of year so a watching brief is advised on Avel Vor, who finished tailed off on his UK debut. Shadarpour could be interesting if fully wound-up as he produced an improved performance at Towcester in the spring while Newton Abbot winner Bathwick Man came up against a well-treated rival when third at Warwick earlier this month. GET HOME NOW had Fuzzy Logic behind when second at Fontwell last month and went one better at Market Rasen. Sean Bowen takes off 7lb again and he can continue his good run.
