CROWN THEATRE ran in a handicap chase at Perth last month but didn't go as well as expected. His earlier efforts over hurdles, particularly when a close third to Tandem at Navan, should be good enough for this though he faces stiff opposition from Old Castletown, who has also had an outing over fences though got no further than the first at Limerick in July. He ran an excellent race on his return to hurdling at Sligo but that was over 2m4f and he could find the selection outpacing him. Beautiful Ben produced his best run to date behind Daigreen at Ballinrobe but he's another likely to be suited by further while Trainspotting needs to brush up his jumping to get involved.
