In depth

Verdict

Lenora is still a maiden but getting closer with every run and only just failed to catch Solita in a Listowel maiden last month. Pleased As Punch gained her second success in recent weeks when beating Chakisto, who has since run well, and Linda's Choice at Listowel. The third has since finished close behind DAIGREEN at Ballinrobe and collateral form puts both the latter and Pleased As Punch virtually level but Jody McGarvey's claim can just swing things the way of George Webb's charge, who was gaining the stable's first victory in two years at Ballinrobe. It's All An Act didn't have much to do to land a minor chase at Sligo last week and has never won over timber nor has Lukes Hill, who ran his best race to date when blinkers were applied at Listowel.
