In depth
Verdict
Another wide open affair in which it may pay to stick with the recent winning form of the likes of Dunmanus Bay and Tudor King, with Sir Bob meriting a mention, being the mount of Tony McCoy. Dunmanus Bay appreciated the fitting of blinkers when opening his account here a fortnight ago. However that was over much shorter and the step back up in trip may expose his stamina limitations again. Tudor King races from out of the handicap but James Davies takes 7lbs off his back which will come in handy. Jeff King's runner showed no signs of stopping at the end of his two and a half mile victory at Plumpton and on his favoured fast ground, will make a bold bid to follow up off his light weight. He gets our narrow vote ahead of Sir Bob who will benefit from A P in the plate, while Ingenu, a stablemate of the selection may make the frame.
