In depth
Verdict
Chanticlier hails from a yard in-form and it can pay to side with the topweight, despite his disadvantage on the terms of the race. He acts well on the ground and fared well in the face of some stiff tests last season, so is given the benefit of the doubt at the trip to get off the mark today. Wartorn will be a big danger if he copes with the extra furlong, but Turaath is capable on his day and is selected to give Kim Bailey's charge the most to do.
