        Verdict

        Few will want to oppose EPATANTE on her second start over hurdles. A Grade 1 bumper winner in France, she made a smooth transition to jumping at Kempton in November and looks a smart prospect. Darling Du Large needs to learn to settle if she is going to fulfill her potential but Coded Message has already won at Lingfield and been placed three times. Flat winner Penny Poet was second to a useful mare at Wincanton on Boxing Day and Stream Lady has won a point-to-point, though has been well beaten in a couple of runs under Rules.
