Verdict

It may pay to oppose Vanormix who has been most disappointing and may be best left alone until he returns to the form which saw him finish behind former Triumph Hurdle favourite Saintsaire at Cheltenham. After unseating on his next appearance he disappointed last time out. Preference here is given to course and distance winner Master Billyboy who sprang a surprise last time out and although starting at 66/1 that day the manner of his victory suggested it was no fluke. His penalty should add a few points to his starting price and is expected to go well for his in-form trainer. Connections have been patient with Top Of The Left and he is well thought of. If fit on this long awaited reappearance he should go well especially if the market speaks in his favour.
