Connections of Madalyar were found guilty under the non-triers rule when Madalyar ran last time out at Fakenham. If running to his full potential this time he is very capable of landing this event though he may have wanted a faster surface than this. Oracle Des Mottes has been given a few opportunities to win without taking them though he was unfortunate to lose last time out having run out when looking likely to score. The ground looks in his favour here and if not displaying the same quirk as last time he could take all the beating. Visibility will find this easier than when finishing third at Newbury last time out and has the profile of an improving sort. He will need to improve to score here though this easier track will suit. Andy Gin only finished out of the frame on two occasions from sixteen flat runs in France and is well regarded by connections. Whether he will be good enough on his debut remains to be seen but he comes from a shrewd yard who would not have pitched him in here if they thought he had no chance.
