In depth

Verdict

What looks a tough afternoon for punters ends with a bumper in which Willie Mullins has three entries. Patrick is on board Yukon Lil but Colreevy appears to have much the better form having run well in the championship bumper at Cheltenham last year before landing a Grade 3 at the Punchestown Festival. She has a long absence to overcome so the vote goes to GYPSY ISLAND, a comfortable winner at Ballinrobe and Naas with a narrow defeat over hurdles in-between. Sassy Yet Classy was 10 lengths behind in that former contest but definitely improved to score at Listowel in September while Sanches battled on strongly to gain a surprise victory at Limerick on St Stephen's Day which will stand her in good stead.
