Verdict

Charlie Stout carries a penalty for his victory over 2m2f at Galway, as he did on a return visit when having no answer to The Red Menace over 2m6f. This looks more his trip though he meets a couple of decent hurdlers who should do better over fences. Debuchet, runner-up in the 2017 Cheltenham Champion Bumper, didn't quite fulfil that potential over timber but was smart enough to suggest this could be his game while AN FRAOCH MOR, a winner over timber at Wexford, has been lightly-raced. With a chasing pedigree, he can make a successful start over the bigger obstacles. Dashing Oscar managed to win four times over hurdles in the UK while Minella Till Dawn looked a smart prospect in his early days over hurdles and has been given time to recover from a poor start over fences two seasons ago.
