Verdict

CONCERTISTA, a winner on the Flat in France, was a 66/1 chance when making her hurdles debut in the Grade 2 Mares' Hurdle at Cheltenham but was only beaten a short-head by stable companion Eglantine Du Seuil. She looks to have a bright future on that evidence and can concede weight all round. Rhythm Divine has much more experience having finished runner-up in a Punchestown Listed contest on her fifth start over timber while Domitian won a point and a bumper and will have come on for her opening run over hurdles at Wexford last month. The two four-year-olds at the bottom of the weights, Telmesomethinggirl and Tucanae, were both winners between the flags though the latter was awarded the race by the stewards and it's the former, a £150,000 purchase at the sales, who looks the more likely to make her presence felt.
