Verdict
Richard Guest's up and coming Lik Wood Power can land this competitive handicap at the expense of Winsley and Jonanaud. This son of Bigstone was out-classed behind the likes of Inglis Drever and Eric's Charm at Warwick in January but did well when stepped down in grade, chasing home Mamboesque at Huntingdon, a repeat of that effort should be good enough here. Winsley was successful at Ludlow in a minor event in January but could only manage a third placing under a penalty at the same track next time. He makes his handicap debut this afternoon but doesn't appear too harshly treated and should go well under Tony McCoy. Jonanaud bounced right back to his best when beating Tidjani at Chepstow last time and if the ground is on the soft side he should be in the shake up. Great Crusader and Spaghetti Junction are bang out of form and the others have little to recommend them so Lik Wood Power is the one to be on.
