Verdict
A poor seller here but something has to win and the principals look to be Maragun, Asador and Lightning Star and the vote goes to Maragun. The gelding from the martin Pipe yard was pulled up last time out, however that was in a chase on soft ground. With his stable now in better form under conditions that suit and dropped in grade he will be hard to beat. Asador was a fair sort a couple of seasons ago but he continues to be beset with jumping problems however if he did manage to complete the course he could go well at a fair price. Lightining Star is another that could go well he was a fair third behind La Marette last time. However the step up in trip is not sure to suit. Of the remainder Injun is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Maragun
