There are a number of interest but JEWELLED is put forward ahead of Pointillist and Haling Park. John Hills' filly was well held on her handicap bow at Pontefract but that was on soft ground which may not have suited the daughter of Fantastic Light. She showed promise on all three starts in maidens and looks capable of winning a race from her current mark. On her last start in maidens she finished a long way in front of Pointillist who had shown promise prior to that. Ralph Beckett's filly needs to prove that her Salisbury running was wrong and the market may give us some indication in that respect. Haling Park appears to be progressing along the right lines and she is bred to appreciate this longer trip and the yard's followers can boast a level stakes profit at the track over the past five seasons. Action Girl and Rock Art are others to bear in mind but Jewelled is the one.
