In depth
Verdict
Not much strength in depth and this looks a good opportunity for Stormy Skye who boasts strong claims. The son of Bluebird is a useful staying hurdler and his efforts over fences of late indicate that a race of this nature is well within his compass, particularly over this longer trip which will suit ideally. The lightly raced Multi Talented has shown considerable ability over fences but looks a thorough stayer and may prove vulnerable on this better ground having looked well suited by testing conditions on his latest start. Dirk Cove hasn't been in the best of form of late and has something to find on these terms with the selection while Uncle Mick has not been the safest of conveyances over fences in the past.
