Verdict
A competitive handicap where David Probert can continue his fruitful partnership with MISARO, who is taken to win it at the main expense of Magical Speedfit and Colorus. The Ron Harris-trained pick has been prolific over five and six furlongs for his connections in what has been a rewarding career in the lower grades. Recently he has been in the form of his life, with three wins from his last four races including a handicap success under today's pilot at Kempton a few days ago. A 6lb penalty will ask further questions of him but we will take him to provide the answers. Magical Speedfit has his optimum conditions and trip and goes very well at this venue. He is on a competitive mark and should go close. Colorus appears to act on any surface and has a good to firm win to his name. This would also be his preferred trip and he is on a winning Fibresand mark today, so has to be hugely respected. Love You Louis goes best with some cut underfoot but is not without claims, while Abso Lutte looks in the grip of the handicapper and Misaro is the pick.
