Verdict
The vote here goes to Count Campioni ahead of Copper Shell. Count Campioni is entitled to improve for his seasonal return at Windsor, and can go well, even though he is running from a six-pound higher mark than when scoring at Chepstow in February. Uncle Mick has been struggling to get his head in front since winning his novice event, similar comments applying to Rudi Knight. Diletia will appreciate the more galloping nature of this track than last time and, lightly raced over fences, could go well. Prince Highlight's stable has been among the winners of late and he is entitled to respect at this level, while Copper Shell is five pounds above the mark from which he won over course and distance in February, but his rider takes off three of those, and he should strip fitter for his seasonal return. He might present the selection, Count Campioni, with his biggest threat.
