Richard Ford doesn't have many runners this far south so it may be significant that he's sent SILVER STEEL down for this and booked the champion to take the ride. The top weight was beaten in a Hexham seller last time but this isn't much better. Celtic Intrigue is still a maiden but was second at Perth last month while Darnborough won in this grade at Southwell nine days ago, though will find this tougher under a penalty. Lajidaal usually finds a couple too good but is entitled to be thereabouts again here.
