Verdict
Papillon de Iena, Severn Air, Vingis Park and Jacks Craic are the principles in the opener and we will side with the first mentioned. The selection was well backed when a beaten favourite behind Lord Lington at Folkestone last time. He is sure to come on for that his racecourse debut and he should take a good deal of beating. Severn Air looks the main danger as she won well last time when defeating Doce Vida at Bangor. She should run another big race and is still progressing, but might just have too much to do under a penalty so is opposed for that reason. Vingis Park hails from the Victor Dartnall yard and certainly looks capable of winning a race, but he is a little one-paced and will have to improve to beat our selection. Jacks Craic is the other on the shortlist but he was a bit disappointing last time out, so for the winner we return to Papillon de Iena.
