In depth
Verdict
Even though Mondial Jack is progressing well he may have to settle for a minor role today as Tikram seems to reserve his best for this course and will be very hard to master today. Garry Moore's charge enjoyed a confidence-boosting round when getting off the mark over fences here last month and is the one to beat on that form alone. Of the rest: Lou Du Moulin Mas has to be respected as Paul Nicholls does really well with runners of his type and he is definitely one to keep tabs on, whatever happens today. So too is Stocks And Shares, whose shrew handler will no doubt find another opening for him as the season goes on. whereas Hazeljack and Frederic Forever have plenty to find and are best left alone for today. In contrast, Mondial Jack can be guaranteed to make a race of it if he puts in anything like he is capable of, but he too may find Tikram too determined at course that obviously suits his style of running. Tikram also has a good turn of foot and will act on the predicted going, son has too much in his favour to ignore even though his chance is likely to be reflected by the likelihood of a cramped starting price.
