Verdict
Sh Boom, Quazar, and In Contrast are three against the field in this grade 2 affair and the confident vote goes to Sh Boom. The gelding won well last time out when defeating Royal Rosa and with conditions again to suit he will be hard to beat. Quazar is the selections stable companion but although he would have a chance on his best form he has become disappointing of late. However the step up in trip could bring about some improvement so he is worth noting in the market. In Contrast is another worthy of respect on his best form but he was pulled up injured in a novice chase last time and he may need the run after a 282-day absence. Of the remainder Mr Cool is sure to make a bold bid to make all the running but he lacks the scope of some of his rivals and for that reason he is opposed. Big Moment is a good novice but this represents a steep rise in class and we prefer to side with the more experienced Sh Boom.
