In depth

Verdict

A number of these are open to improvement and moves for any of: Jivaty, Jack Dash and Run Of Kings could be significant. However, Dangerously Good has started to come into himself now that he has acclimatized to racing on these shores and he sets a fair standard for the rest to aim for today. The Garry Moore-trained six-year-old, who was thrown in at the deep end when he took his chance in last season's Supreme Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham, has transferred plenty of his ability from the Flat to this code of racing and has been found a good opportunity to build on his promising effort at Kempton from earlier this month. The son of Shareef Dancer travelled very well on that occasion and eventually crossed the line with a fair bit more in hand than his length-and-a-half winning margin would have you believe. Dangerously Good does have a little more to do with the likes of Bobsleigh and Vingis Park set to do battle today, but neither has really looked a natural at this game and they may find the selection is a little bit too progressive for them at this stage. Presentingthecase showed little on his debut for Jonjo O'Neill and looks to need more time, whereas the rest appear to have plenty to find with Dangerously Good in the line up today.
