In depth
Verdict
Papeete gets the call ahead of Sheriff Roscoe and Thunder Rock. Thunder Rock is the highest rated of these and, although disappointing last time in first-time blinkers, holds claims based on his two efforts prior to that. Sheriff Roscoe came good at Exeter last time and, clearly going the right way, holds good claims. Speed Winner has been disappointing of late but could not entirely be ruled out on earlier bits of form, but Papeete looked as though sa step up in trip might prove beneficial when second to Strawberry here last time and, as such, gets the vote.
