This should not take much winning and, having shown improved form in recent outings, Lonesome Man looks worth chancing in a distinctly moderate contest with the main threats looking to be A Sea Commander and Taksina. The last mentioned has claims on the pick of his form but has disappointed since landing a handicap at Worcester back in October so may be best watched. Tetrode has given little cause for optimism of late, while Spring Brook is distinctly moderate on all known form and is hard to recommend. Mountsorrel has bits and pieces of form as does the Seamus Mullins-trained A Sea Commander but Lonesome Man has the most solid claims on recent form and he is preferred.
